How to download your Pinterest images
Three steps, no login, no extension to install. You just need the link of a pin you published.
Copy your pin link
Open the pin on Pinterest and copy its link. Full pinterest.com/pin/... links from the browser and short pin.it links from the mobile app both work.
Paste it in the tool
Paste the link above and click Get image. The tool finds the original file you uploaded, at its full resolution and in its own format.
Save the image
Click Download image and the file saves to your device under a readable name. Paste a board or profile link instead to download many pins at once.
Why download the original instead of a screenshot?
Pinterest shows every pin resized for the feed, so a screenshot or a right-click save gives you a small, recompressed copy. The original you uploaded is still there.
Full resolution. Get the image at the size you uploaded it, sharp enough to reuse on your blog, in a newsletter or in print.
The right format. PNG designs stay PNG, so text and transparency stay crisp. Animated pins download as real GIFs, not a still frame.
Back up your designs. Lost the Canva project or the original file? The published pin still has it, and you can keep a copy.
Repurpose across channels. Reuse the pin artwork on Instagram, in Facebook posts or in an email without redesigning it.
One thing this tool is not for: taking other creators' images to post as your own. Pinterest content belongs to the people who made it - only download images you own or have permission to use.
